Turn to today's date and begin - there is no need to wait for January 1. Fill in the year on the first open space, then write a line or two about your day. A quick circle of the pen marks the weather. One line is enough; the magic is in showing up, not in writing a lot. By year two, each page shows what you wrote on this same day the year before.
